Semi Finals

Barry Mavros vs John Bowkett

A high-tempo clearance showcase. Experience and composure saw Barry Mavros overcome former English Junior World Champion John Bowkett.

John Wims vs Justin Sajich. An absorbing contest with repeated momentum swings. Spectators widely regarded it as one of the matches of the tournament, with Wims edging through in a pressure finish.

The Final — Race to 9

John Wims vs Barry Mavros

The opening frames were evenly shared before a series of dry and foul breaks shifted control. Wims produced near-perfect execution, missing only a single difficult black into the side pocket.

Post-match, Mavros praised Wim’s performance and reflected positively on victories over Joe Chao and Danny Stone en route to the final.
