One of the calendar’s premier 7ft American Pool annual events returns this May as the Sydney 9-Ball Masters once again brings together a full field of players for three days of high-quality competition.

With a proven format, strong fields year after year, and a maximum of 100 players, the Sydney Masters has become a standout event for players wanting to test themselves on a big stage.

🔹 FORMAT

Stage 1 – Group Stages

Players will be drawn into groups of 5, with the top 3 from each group advancing to Sunday’s knockout finals.

🎱 Race to 5 Round Robin

Group Session Times:

🕓 Friday – 4:00pm

🌙 Friday – 7:30pm

☀️ Saturday – 10:00am

🕜 Saturday – 1:30pm

🌆 Saturday – 5:00pm

Players may request a preferred day (Friday or Saturday only), however requests are not guaranteed.

Stage 2 – Sunday Knockout Finals

Single elimination finals day.

Opening rounds: Race to 7

Races increase as the event progresses

🚨 Capped at 100 players

🔹 ENTRY FEES

💰 Fargo 599 & Below — $90

💰 Fargo 600+ — $130

🔹 UPDATED SEEDING RULES

Seeding is now generated automatically based on your performance in the event.

Order of ranking:

1️⃣ Win % — your win rate across Masters matches

2️⃣ Avg Frame Differential — frames won minus frames lost, per match

3️⃣ Avg Frames Won — average frames won per match

4️⃣ Fargo Rating — final tiebreaker only if still level

📌 Results on the table come first. Fargo is only used when the three performance measures cannot separate players.
